Jean Elizabeth Ramos-Izquierdo, 46, of Sykesville, died suddenly Friday, October 23, 2015 at her home.
   Born October 20, 1969 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Florence Elizabeth McCartney and the late Jack Randolf Shanahan. She was the wife of Jorge L. Ramos-Izquierdo. They had been married for 20 years.
   Jean earned a Bachelor's degree from UMBC in 1993 and went to work at the T. Rowe Price Call Center in Baltimore, rising to the position of Vice President in charge of the investment center in Washington, D.C. Jean stepped down from that position to raise her two children and work from home as a corporate bookkeeper for a local HVAC company in which she was a partner with her brother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed scrap booking and spending time with her family. She was very proud of her Irish heritage.  
   In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by children Jacqueline Elizabeth and Sean Miguel Ramos-Izquierdo and brother Michael C. Shanahan.    
   Prayer services will be held Thursday, 4:00 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD with Deacon Karl Bahi, officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
