Helen Agnes Tucker, 96, of Marriottsville, died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the St. Martin’s Home in Catonsville.
Born March 21, 1919 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late John E. and Katherine Mary Agnes Juenemann Fitzgerald. She was the wife of the late Ernest Oliver Tucker, Sr. who died August 22, 1984.
She had worked as a bookkeeper at GBL Services for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church in Woodstock, MD.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Robert E. Tucker and Mary, Owen T. Tucker and Barbara, Ernest O. Tucker, Jr. and Michelle. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son William T. Tucker, and survived by daughters-in-law Cynthia Crain and Lisa Edmonds.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 22, 10:30AM at St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church, 10800 Old Court Rd, Woodstock, MD 21163 with her pastor, Rev. Fr. Joseph P. Lacey, S.J., officiating. Interment will follow in Cheltenham Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
