William Paul Thorn. 82, of West Virginia, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Inspirations Assisted Living in Westminster, Maryland. Born December 1, 1942 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Paul and Geargia Stolzenbach Thorn. He was the loving husband of Brenda Thorn (Queen). They had been married for 37 years. Bill had worked primarily as a manager in the construction field. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He also loved refinishing antique furniture. He also was an excellent gardener, loved hunting, fishing, horses and the rodeo. In addition to his wife Brenda, Bill is survived by daughters Jacqueline (Candy) Freeland and her husband Steven, Cynthia Kraynie, brother Walter Thorn, sons Jeffrey Rhodes and his wife Victoria, Timothy Rhodes and his partner Crista Polich, sisters Patricia Bowen and husband Louis, Geargia (Jeany) DeVese and her husband Gordon, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter Denise Smith. Services and interment will be private. The Jeffrey N.
