William Raymond Linkow

William ‘Bill’ Raymond Linkow, 80, of Sykesville, died Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born December 4, 1943 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Irving and Audrey Abernathy Linkow. He was the loving husband of Donna Linkow. They had been married for 42 years. Bill worked as an electrical engineer, he owned and operated Fiberplex” in Maryland. In his spare time, he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. In addition to his beloved wife Donna, Bill is survived by sons Ray, David and Eddie Linkow, Brian Wakefield, daughters Michelle Hurty and her husband Brett and Stacie Sanzone, brother Charles Linkow and his wife Jo, sister Penelope ‘Penny’ Essex, ten grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 Noon at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland. Interment will follow in Columbia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 10-12 Noon at the funeral home.
