William George Kappauf

William George Kappauf, 86, of Finksburg, died Sunday, January 11, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 21, 1939 in Arbutus, Maryland, he was the son of the late Herbert and Gladys Schwartz Kappauf. He was the devoted husband of the late Anne Marie Kappauf who died February 15, 2025. They had been married for over 64 years. Bill had retired from the printing business. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, taking care of his horses, property, eating crabs and spending time with his family. He is survived by her daughter Angela (Kappauf) Harris and husband Curtis Harris, Jr, four grandchildren, Amanda Picotte and husband Michael, Ashley Kappauf and fiancé Keith Selby, William Kappauf and Haileigh Dixon and fiancé Michael Schaeffer as well as four great grandchildren.
