William David Campbell

William David Campbell, 84, of Elkridge died Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Carroll Dove House. Born January 30, 1937 in Florence, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Raymond Winthrop Campbell, Sr. and the late Claudia Lee Montrose Campbell. He was the former husband of Betty Ann Campbell-Jones. William had retired from Westinghouse after a 30 plus year career as an industrial artist. He had graduated from the Polytechnic Institute in 1956 and also had graduated from the American Institute of Art. He enjoyed oil painting, golf, tennis, martial arts, weightlifting and betting on the ponies at Laurel Raceway. As well as his former wife Betty, William is survived by daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Norris Fitzgerald and grandson Nicholas Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville, MD 21784, tomorrow, May 23th, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. Services will be held Sunday, May23, 2021, 5:00PM at the funeral home.
