Victor Louis DeCesare, 96, of Baltimore, died Wednesday, February 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia, Maryland. Born June 23, 1926, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Victor O. and Carmelina Scagliarini DeCesare. He was the husband of the late Rosalie Mary Palm DeCesare, who died on February 1, 2012. Victor was a member of the greatest generation serving in the Air Force during World War II. He was trained and served as part of the B-29 bomber team and later as part of the occupying Air Force serving in Nuremberg, Germany, during the trials of Nuremberg. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church Community, Westminster, Maryland. Victor is survived by his daughters Susan Muth, Diane Winters, Nancy DeCesare, I.H.M., Kim Thomas, Rene Farrell, Catherine Eller, Bernadette DeCesare, his sons Victor G. and Michael DeCesare, and 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him. His sister Inez Alexinas preceded him in death. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:30-11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Baltimore, Maryland 21228. A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. The Jeffrey N.
