Shaun Patrick Burgess, 36, of Baltimore, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home. Born October 26, 1984, in Germantown he was the son of Catherine Keating Burgess of Delaware. Shaun had worked at Harvest Inn Restaurant for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends in the Eldersburg area. He attended Liberty High School graduating in 2003. If you knew, you knew his laugh was contagious, his eagle pride strong, but most of all he had a heart of gold. His friends were family, their kids were his family and there is not a local person that can’t tell you a story about him. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sister Melissa Stumbaugh, brother Timothy Stumbaugh, nephews Landon and Connor Stumbaugh, Christopher Knauff, Jr. and niece Liliana Knauff. He was preceded in death by brother Michael Allen Burgess on February 25, 2000 and step father Terry L. Stumbaugh who died March 26, 2017. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 6:00 PM, at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD.
