Sara (Sally) Nichols Armiger, 77, of Eldersburg died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at her home.
   Born February 4, 1937 in Catonsville, she was the daughter of the late Albert Wesley Nichols and Ruth Annette Henshaw. She was the wife of the late George Armiger who died in 2007.They had been married for 54 years.
   She had retired from Springfield State Hospital as a nurse. She enjoyed bluegrass festivals, painting, making jewelry and spending time with her family.  
   She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Cynthia Krause and David, sons and daughters-in-law Guy Armiger and Cathy, Glenn Mark Armiger and Susie, Tim Armiger and Shellie, and son Patrick, brother Tom Nichols, 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Charles (Chip) Armiger and granddaughter Hope Armiger.
   A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, December 18th, 2:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parish at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
