 Robert “Bob” Spencer, Jr., 65, of Sykesville passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Born January 29, 1958 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert Spencer, Sr. and Shirley Wheeler Spencer. He was the loving husband of Sheri Spencer (Witmer). They had been married for almost 33 years. Bob was a material management specialist for Medstar Health. He was a devoted husband and father to his “girls” and loved spending time with them and his other family members. He enjoyed spending time with his Arbutus, MD friends. He was an avid sports fan and loved cheering for the Ravens, Orioles and Maryland Terps. In addition to his wife Sheri, Bob is survived by daughters Megan and Shannon Spencer and brother Kevin Spencer. The family will receive friends at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD on Monday October 16, 2023 from 5-8 PM. As you know, Bob would love if family and friends came dressed in Maryland sports attire- Ravens, Orioles, Terps. Services and interment will be private.
