Richard Davis, Sr. Obituary

Richard Carl Davis Sr., 79, of Finksburg, died Sunday, January 18, 2026 at University of Maryland Medical Center. Born July 17, 1946 in Youngstown Ohio. He was the son of the late Kenneth I. and Louise Davis and was the husband of the late Nancy L. Davis who died November 15, 2018. They had been married 49 years. Richard was a Field Service Manager for Xerox Corporation where he worked for 32 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force He enjoyed walking, listening to music, the Baltimore Ravens and most importantly spending time with his family. He is survived by his son Richard C. Davis Jr. and his wife Mandi, daughter Vicki L. Podles and her husband Chris, his brother Ron Davis and grandchildren Mason, Maddy, Cameron, Molly, and McKinley. He was preceded in death by brother Ken Davis. A memorial service will be held Friday, 12 Noon at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 11:00 Am till time of service at the funeral home.
