Philip DiVenti Obituary

Philip Salvatore DiVenti, 83, of Woodlawn, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the home of his son Philip. Born June 13, 1938 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Michael DiVenti and Theresa Lucy Alascio Cammerata. Phil was a car salesman. Prior to that he had worked in the construction and home remodeling trades. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed drag racing, motorcycles, horse racing and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Windsor Mill. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Philip and Catherine DiVenti, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Chuck Loss, siblings Samuel DiVenti, Charles and Joseph Cammarata, Michael DiVenti, Michele Urbanski and Tina Mann. He is also survived by grandchildren Jessica and husband Renard, Heather and husband Scott, Robert, Colleen and A.J., Stephanie and Kaitlyn and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Thomas DiVenti, granddaughter Christine Loss and stepbrother Stanley Humphrey. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 from 12:00pm-2:00pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, located at 6028 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, Maryland. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 6:00PM. Interment, with be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 6950 Dogwood Road, Windsor Mill, Maryland 21244. Online condolences may be offered at www.jnzumbrunfuneralhome.com.
