Michael Jay Mak, Sr., 60, of Owings Mills died Sunday, September 10th, suddenly, at his residence resulting from complication he suffered from diabetes. Born November 26, 1962 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Isaac and Edith Mak. He was the loving husband of Barbara Jean Mak (nee Jackson). They had been married for 18 years. Mike was part owner and operator of Mike and Norm’s Towing. He graduated Randallstown High School in 1980. He was an avid music fan and enjoyed playing the drums. He loved doing vehicle recovery. In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by daughter Joanna Mak, son Michael J. Mak, Jr., siblings Pam Bringhurst, Faye Allison Kenny and husband Paul, Haley Mak Brantley, numerous grandchildren including Colin Cooper, Sophie Mak, Jordan Mak and Christian Mak and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by son Jonathan Tyler Mak and brother David Wolle A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Gamber & Community Fire Company, 3838 Niner Road, Finksburg, Maryland, 21048 on October 8, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
