Mary Jean (Nye) Bollinger

Mary Jean Nye Bollinger, 91, of Westminster died Thursday, October 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Ohio, she was the wife of the late Francis Levine Bollinger who passed away 2015. They had been married for 67 years. Mary Jean was a homemaker She enjoyed traveling in her younger years as well as gardening, cooking and taking care of her family. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Door to Virtue Chapter #94 in Westminster. She was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters Catherine J. Shelton, Nancy A. Bollinger-Jones, Sondie J. Clarke and husband Wayne, Janice M. Bollinger and companion Greg S. Stanley and son Jeffrey F. Bollinger and companion Bridget Wilhelm. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by sons-in-law Michael Shelton and Ernest Jones, Jr. The family will receive friends Monday, November 1, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, 11:00 AM with the Rev. John Dean, officiating. Interment will follow at Deer Park Cemetery. A memorial service will be conducted by the Eastern Star 7:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
