Mark ‘SpiritBear’ Tucker, Sr., 54, of Eldersburg, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Carroll Hospital Center.
   Born June 18, 1959 in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of Gloria Dawn Welsh Tucker and the late Calvin Clyde Tucker.
   He owned and operated MATCO Masonry Contractors, Inc. He enjoyed beekeeping, training and riding horses, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and gardening. He also helped to manage his son’s professional boxing career. He was proud of being a single Dad to his 4 children.
   He is survived by son Mark Alan Tucker, Jr., daughter Mary Lillian Tucker-Guy and husband Jonathon, son Timothy Lee Tucker, daughter Victoria Dawn Tucker, sister Sharon Sobzak and husband Michael and nephew Alex Sobzak, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
    The family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 AM at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 10755 Scaggsville Rd, North Laurel, MD 20723. A one hour visitation period will be held prior to the church service. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
