Maria Ana Moreyra, 80, of Sykesville, died Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 17, 1945 in Apurimac, Peru, she was the daughter of the late Emilio Guillen and Cristina Medina. She is the devoted wife to Isaac Moreyra. They were married for over 60 years. Maria was a devout Catholic and a skilled seamstress. She enjoyed dancing huaynos and cumbias, listening to music such as boleros and mariachis, cooking her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s favorite foods, playing at casinos, traveling all over the country, and overall spending time with her family. In addition to her husband Isaac, Maria is survived by daughters Miriam Janet Parker and Ana Cecilia Lohnas, sons Isaac and Williams Renato Moreyra, one brother, two sisters and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, Graveside services will take place Friday, 2:00PM at Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville with Fr. Armando Alejandro officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12-1:30PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland.
