Karl G. Miller, Jr.

Karl G. Miller, Jr., 86 of New Park, Pennsylvania died Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Born June 28, 1937 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Hazel and Karl G. Miller, Sr. He was the husband of the late Ruth Miller who died in 1988 and a longtime partner of the late Edith ’Sue’ Curry who died in 2015. They were both the loves of his life. Karl had retired from Verizon after 35 years of services working as a line splitter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed going to car shows in Carlile, PA, target shooting with his pistol and being outdoors while driving his golf cart. He was the last of his immediate family. Karl is survived by son Barry Miller, Bill Styron, Ed Styron and wife Lisa, Bob Styron and wife Mary, Jill Bracewell, Kara and Matthew Styron, Amanda and Brandon Naylor, Isabella and Scarlet. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023, 1:00PM at Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, Maryland. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10AM – 12PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD.
