Karen Leigh Harris

Karen Leigh Harris, 57, of Westminster, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Bridging Life, formerly the Dove House. Born March 11, 1964 in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jo Ann Bardeen and the late Marvin Harris. Karen loved animals, any and all animals. She loved all kinds of music and she loved to dance. She enjoyed movies and could name all the actors and characters. She especially loved music and television shows from the 70’s. Most importantly, she loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews and their children. She is survived by sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Rick Harris, niece Karen Rainier and her husband Josh, nephew Denny Norris and his wife Lauren, niece Min-li Cary and her husband Rai, great nephews Wyatt and Avett Rainier, and Max Norris, and great nieces Alex and Gwennie Cary. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022, 3:00PM at The Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, Maryland. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon -3:00PM Sunday at the funeral home.
