Joseph David Zerner

Joseph David Zerner, 81, of Taneytown, died May 27, 2024 at Lorien of Taneytown. Born August 5, 1942 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Joseph Emmet Zerner and Florence Parker Zerner. Joe worked as an x-ray technician for the University of Maryland Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed volunteering at St Dominic’s Church and Good Samaritan Hospital. Joe is survived by brothers R. Michael Zerner and his wife Celeste, T. Kevin Zerner and his wife Deborah, nieces Bridget and Stacey Zerner and nephews Brian, Kevin and Kyle Zerner. Inurnment will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21206 with military honors. The Jeffery Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
