It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Emerson Neiswender II, age 55, on September 2nd, 2026.

John was born on April 1, 1971 in Wilmington, Delaware to John and Lynda Neiswender.

The family later moved to Maryland where John graduated from Liberty High School. He spent parts of his adult years in Maryland, Arizona and most recently lived in Bluffton, SC. John worked as a general contractor and custom woodworker for most of his life. As a youth, John enjoyed playing ice hockey, racing BMX bikes, camping and hunting. Those hobbies followed him into adulthood. After work or on the weekends, you would often find him in a tree stand or on his Harley with his knees in the breeze.

John is survived by his parents, John and Lynda Neiswender, his children, Ryan Neiswender and Emma Neiswender, and his sisters, Shari Bowman (John) and Jill Neiswender. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, 2:00PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
