Jami DeBlase Obituary

Jami Melissa DeBlase, 41, of Sykesville, died Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her home. Born January 6, 1981 in Baltimore, she was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Shirley DeBlase. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancé Brian Wofford, her sister Michelle Gray (Dave), her grandmother Norma Meekins, her niece Jessi Marsico (Ivin) and nephew Jake Marsico (Stephanie), three great-nephews (Sylas, Soren and Sebastian), her niece and nephew Alli and Willi DeBlase and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Eric Deblase. Jami graduated from Glenelg High School in 1999 and holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Howard Community College plus several other continuing education certifications for her profession. Jami was a day care teacher at Wee Care Best in Finksburg. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially her great nephews. Jami loved children and they loved her just as much. She was very excited for her great nieces, Cassidy and Elena, due to born soon. Jami loved snuggling with and spoiling her beloved little dog, Evie. She enjoyed watching Ravens football, couponing, outlet shopping, and trips to Gettysburg. Jami, forever in our hearts, we love you and know you are now at peace with your brother Eric in the arms of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Memorial service and reception will be held Sunday, March 13th at 2:00 PM at Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church, 961 Johnsville Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
