James Charles William Rossow, 84, of Finksburg, died peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home.

   Born April 13, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Myron and Violet Christian Rossow. He was the husband of Rose Rossow. They had been married for over nine years.   

   Jim had retired from Westinghouse Corporation as an engineer. He had served in the Army Reserves. He enjoyed going to the casinos, spending time with his fellow retirees from Westinghouse and his family. He was the last of his immediate family.

   In addition to his wife Rose, Jim preceded in death by his first wife Myrna. Jim is survived by daughter Sharon McClung, son Dennis Rossow and longtime partner Marcia Hollingsworth, granddaughter Amber McClung and partner Brandon Schoen, step-son Frank Grzymala and wife Cory and step daughter Teresa Hornbach and husband William. He was preceded in death by step daughter Roseanna Bertel.

   A funeral service will be held Wednesday, 7:00 PM, at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Refreshments will be served at the home of Jim’s wife Rose Rossow.
