Glenda Marjorie (Ireland) Meads

Glenda Marjorie Meads, 89, of Sykesville, died Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Intergrace/Fairhaven. Born December 24, 1932 in Routing Creek, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Blanche Post Ireland. She had been employed with the Federal Protective Service for over 26 years. She loved traveling, doing crossword puzzles and line dancing. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Reformed Episcopal Church. She is survived by daughter Lea Baire and husband Ron, daughter Carla Bishop, son Thom Meads and his wife Denise, grandchildren Patrick, Wesley, Melody, Douglas, Matthew, Zachary and Luke. She is also survived by great granddaughter Elizabeth. She was the last of her immediate family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8, 11:00 AM at St. Stephen’s Reformed Episcopal Church, 2275 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, Maryland 21784. Interment will be private.
