George Leonard Langrill

George Leonard Langrill, 71, of Westminster died at his home on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 surrounded by his loving family after an illness with cancer. Born June 5, 1950 in Baltimore he was the son of the late John James and Mary Grace Langrill. He was the devoted husband of Debi Ann Langrill (Bowers). They had been married for 51 years. George worked as a project manager for Carter CAT. He was a retired union member of IBEW local 24 Baltimore, MD as a master electrician. He was a proud graduate from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1969. George enjoyed farming, home building, boating and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Debi, George is survived by sons Eric Langrill and his wife Lynn, Ethan Langrill and his wife Sally, sisters Missy Langrill and her husband Donald Smith, Elena Langrill and her husband Stephen Miles, Linda Jakelski, brother Stephen Langrill and his wife Linda and sister in law Cindy Parr and her husband Graig. He is also survived by grandchildren Kyle, Kristin, Jake and Ryder Langrill and his pet dog Sammy. The family will receive friends Saturday January 8th from 12-2 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, Maryland where a memorial service will be held at 2:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
