Esther Domeneck Stansfield, 88, of Westminster, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown.
   Born April 9, 1926 in Manhattan, New York, she was the daughter of the late Sinencio and Basilia Inglesias Domeneck. She was the wife of the late James Norris ‘Nook’ Stansfield who died January 9, 2002. They had been married for 53 years.
   After her birth her family moved to the Bronx where she lived with her father. They lived there until moving to Guilford, Connecticut where she attended and graduated from Guilford High School. She moved to Baltimore in 1945 to work for the State of Maryland. She married her husband James in 1948. In 1964 she began her career in customer relations with Western Electric which then became AT&T. She retired in 1987 with 23 years of service. She enjoyed going to yard sales, doing puzzles, dancing, entertaining and babysitting. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.
   She is survived by daughter Lynda D. Mullar of Wye Mills, son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey N. Stansfield and Mahala of Westminster, sister Ruby Vera-Cruz of Bradenton, FL, many nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
    Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
