Obituary

Dorothy Adele Killough, 85, of Westminster, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Copper Ridge. Born March 20, 1938, in New York, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Angele Haddad, and the beloved wife of the late David Killough. Dorothy had worked as a secretary for Teledyne Energy Systems. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cockeysville and she volunteered with the Eucharist Ministry at GBMC Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, taking long walks, animals, reading, traveling, and chocolate. She is survived by daughters Lynn Downey, Robin Palaima, Chris Swain and husband Bill, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023, 1:00PM at the Church 3.0, 65 East Main Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. Interment will be private. The Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, Maryland is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Interment will be private.
