Daniel J. Klein Jr, 39, of Hampstead Maryland, passed on 3/24/25 while admitted to the hospital after undergoing complex heart surgery. Born December 26th, 1985 in Laurel, he was the son of Judith and Daniel Klein. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Daniel Klein III, mother to their child Madison Harris, his loving girlfriend Casey Leppo, sister Madeline Klein, brother Staton Klein, and niece Grace Morris in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and people who considered him family whether they were bound by blood or not. Daniel worked as a service consultant for Mercedes Benz and was involved in that industry for the majority of his life. More than anything he loved being with his family and friends, spending as much time as possible with them. In recent years he found a love of traveling and had many plans to continue to do so in years to come. He will be most remembered for his goofy nature, his role as a father, his laugh, his smile, his “heart cough”, and his willingness to help people. Even in death, Daniel was able to give life to others through organ donation, becoming a hero in his own right. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 30th, 2025 at Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 from 1pm-4pm for a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, sympathies may be expressed in the form of contributions directly to the funeral home to help aid in his final expenses. If excess funds raised, they will go to help with expenses for his son in the coming years."
