Cathy Peregoy (Peregoy) Bollinger

Cathy Peregoy Bollinger, 57, of Westminster, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at the University of Maryland Hospital.  
   Born June 7, 1957, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry Peregoy and Betty Leister Danner.  She was the wife of David Scott Bollinger. Cathy and David recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in June.
   Cathy was a 1975 graduate of North Carroll High School, and a lifelong member of St. John’s (Leister’s) Lutheran Church.  After high school, she devoted most of her time to her family as a homemaker.  Cathy enjoyed traveling, tending to flowers in her garden, home decorating, and supporting her beloved Ravens.  Her favorite activity was spending time with her family, and she was especially proud of her daughters’ achievements.  Along with her husband, Cathy was their biggest supporter.
   In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Emily Bollinger Miller and her husband Matthew, Katie Beth Bollinger, Rachael Elise Bollinger, brother Craig Peregoy, mother-in-law June Bollinger, brother-in-law Mark Bollinger and his wife Sherrine, sisters-in-law Ann Bollinger and Carole McShea and her husband Tim.  She is also survived by numerous other family members.  She was preceded in death by sister-in-law Debbie Peregoy.
   The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 2:00 pm, at St. John’s (Leister’s) Lutheran Church, 827 Leisters Church Road, Westminster, MD, 21157, with her pastor, the Rev. Kristin Dubsky, officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the church service, at the church.  The Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD, is handling funeral arrangements.
