Albert Marshall Booth of Sykesville, passed on Tuesday May 12, 2026 after a long battle with multiple medical conditions Born on May 23,1958 in the District of Columbia, he was the only son of the late Albert Marshall and Jeanne Howdershell Booth of Riverdale, MD. He was preceded in death by his sisters Susan and Linda. Albert Jr was known as "Rick" to family and friends. He was married to Susan Piraino Booth for 44 years. He leaves behind their daughter Christina, son Albert, grandson Albert Marshall Booth IV, his sister Marsha Johnson and his two nephews, Mike and Sean. Rick worked in the automobile field since he was old enough to work at a gas station. He was a car guy from early on. Motorcycles, Volkswagens, RC Cars, boats and just about anything with a motor in it, he was all in. Make and model didn't matter, it was what you could do with it. He was proud of his Bootlegger truck and lived his life to the fullest. After all those hobbies and countless vehicles, turns out all he needed was something loud and strong with air conditioning and power steering. He always did it his way, striving to be the best at whatever he touched. The family will receive friends at the West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, 12535 Old Frederick Road, Sykesville, MD, on Saturday May 23 from 4-6 pm for a celebration of Rick's life. The Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland is assisting the family with funeral plans. Interment will be private.
