Aaron William Byers, 53, of West Virginia, died as the result of an automobile accident on October 18, 2024 in West Virginia. Born February 2, 1971 in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of Charles D. and Sherry Hofferberth Byers. He was the partner of Jennifer J. Teeter. Aaron graduated from Dallastown High School in 1989. He was employed as a corrections officer at West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation - Eastern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1989-1993. He enjoyed the outdoors and being in nature. His favorite places were the beach and his cabin in the woods. He was an artist and loved to build and create with his hands. He was an avid storyteller. He was always beyond proud of his sons. In addition to his parents and partner, Aaron is survived by sons Ean O., Seth E. and William R. Byers. He is also survived by sisters Amy Linton and her husband John, Megan Byers, nephews Hunter Linton, and Adam Lepovetsky and nieces Sienna Mitchell and Lindsay Lepovetsky. The family will receive friends Friday, October 25, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland.
