Thomas Wayne Hoffman, 65, of Westminster died Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson.
Born July 22, 1953 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William R. Hoffman, Sr. and Edna Busick Hoffman. Tom was the loving husband of Marcy R. Hoffman (nee Eisenberg). They had been married for 45 years.
He was a past manager with Giant Food Stores. He had worked for Giant for over 25 years. He was a graduate of the former Northern High School in Overlea, Class of 1971. He enjoyed golf, coaching, and playing slo-pitch softball. Tom also enjoyed riding the roller coasters at Hershey Park and Kings Dominion. He was a lover of all animals, especially the squirrels which he fed on his back deck. Most of all, he loved his family and had a special bond with his granddaughter Charlotte.
In addition to his wife Marcy, he is survived by loving daughters Robyn Wilson (husband Dustin) and Jillian Hoffman, brothers William R. Hoffman, Jr. (wife Anne) and Robert C. Hoffman (wife Kimberly), granddaughter Charlotte Wilson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
