Magdalen (Schubert) Brewer

Magdalen “Madge” Brewer, 86, of Eldersburg, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at the home of her son.
   Born July 31, 1926 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Adam and Mary Hagen Schubert.
   She had worked as a bookkeeper for many years in the Baltimore area and was retired from St. Agnes Hospital.
   She is survived by son James F. Brewer and wife Judith, daughter Marie Ann Fish and husband Roland, grandson Peter J. Brewer and his fiancé, Elizabeth and her great grandson Logan James Brewer.
   Graveside services will be held Thursday, 11:30AM at Loudon Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-7 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784.
   In lieu of flowers, sympathy’s may be expressed in the form of contributions to the Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department, 6680 Sykesville Rd Sykesville, MD 21784 or to the Gamber Volunteer Fire Department, 3838 Niner Rd,Finksburg, MD, 21048.
