Lee Dale Williams, Sr., 72, of Randallstown, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family members. Born September 13, 1944 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lee and Irene Morton-Fig Williams. He was the husband of the late Georgia Ruth Williams who died March 3, 2016. They had been married for 55 years. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps. He served his country during the Vietnam War. He had also worked at The National Security Agency and after retirement had worked as a security agent for GAF Roofing. Lee enjoyed model trains, putting together model cars and trains. He also enjoyed fishing, watching military movies and singing. Lee was a member of Liberty American Legion Post in Randallstown. He was also a member of Church of God in Christ in Columbia, Maryland where he served as a deacon. He loved spending time with family. He is survived by daughters Chandra Davina Lynette Williams, Lavonda Johnson and partner Lashonda, sons Lee Dale Williams, Jr. and wife Jenelle, David Timothy Williams, Daniel Phillip Williams and wife Cathy, Shawn Darnell Williams and wife Tyra, Darrell Anthony Williams and wife Patty and Matthew Stanley Robbins and wife Ashley. He is also survived by brother Clarence Leroy Williams, Sr., 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date with due time and notice given.
