John Adam Woodrum

John Adam Woodrum, 18, of Sykesville, left this world too soon on Friday, January 20, 2017 at his home. Born March 19, 1998 in Baltimore, he was the son of John Henry Woodrum and Sharon Kelly Franklin Miller. He was the step-son of Michael Lee Miller, Sr. and Nella Woodrum. John was currently employed with Lee’s Electrical Contracting as an electrician’s apprentice. He was a graduate of the Class of 2016 from Francis Scott Key High School. While in school, he was involved with the student government, soccer and attended Vo-Tech studying graphic design. He loved all animals especially his cat Phinneaus. In addition to his parents and step parents, he is survived by sister Ava Maria Woodrum, and brothers Michael Lee Miller, Jr. and Wesley Kelly Miller. He is also survived by grandparents Sharon Ann Franklin, Bonnie Bea Woodrum, Valma Ruth Miller and Billy Miller, aunts Tami Moore, Teri Geppi , Ida Warner, Maria and Diane Miller , uncles Bill Moore, Phil Geppi, Timothy and Bradley Miller, cousins Ashlie and Josh Strevig, Zoe and Heidi Moore, David, Anna and Ben Albaugh and Thomas, Izabella and James Miller. He is also survived by girl friend Brianna McCabe. He was preceded in death by grandparents Adam Edward Franklin and John Dennis Woodrum. Funeral Services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD with Deacon Don Helfer of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, officiating.
