Helen Gloria (Warfield) Forrester

Helen Gloria Forrester, 89, of Sykesville, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Carroll Dove House. Born November 29, 1927 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Beulah Morris Warfield. She was the wife of the late George W. Forrester, Sr. who died November 1, 2000. They were married August 21, 1948 and had been married for 52 years. She was retired from Westinghouse Corporation as an Inspector. She was a no nonsense lady who enjoyed hard work and her family. She was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law George W. Forrester, Jr. and Melissa, Edward T. Forrester and Debora grandchildren Kelly Calp and Jeremy, Timothy Forrester and Sarah, Matthew Forrester and Lindsay and Douglas Forrester. She is also survived by great grandchildren Jacob, Katelyn, Oliver and Wyatt. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Terri Rae Chattin, officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
