Gloria Maria (Glebas) Gray

Gloria Maria Gray, 88, of Eldersburg, MD, died peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. Born July 31, 1928 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Glebas and Ann Shryock. She was the wife of the late Raymond Francis Gray who died in 1991. They had been married for 40 years. Gloria was a home maker. In her younger years she worked as a bank teller. Gloria enjoyed word games and puzzles. She liked watching the Orioles, the Ravens and the Triple Crown horse races. She also took pride in finding the best shopping bargains. Gloria loved animals, children and her family. She is survived by son Gary Raymond Gray and his fiancée Sherry Gamble, daughter Gail Gray Lindsay and husband John Anderson, grandson Adam Lindsay, step granddaughters Shanna and Sabrina Anderson and great-nephews Eddie Bennett and Gray Johnson along with their respective families. She was preceded in death by son-in-law Stephen Lindsay. Services and burial will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, 2030 Mt. View Road, Marriottsville, MD (Howard County), look for black fence around cemetery, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 12:00 noon. Please arrive early. There will be no public visitation.
