Beverly Joy (King) Mohr-Evans

Beverly Joy Mohr-Evans, 70, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, departed this life on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Johns Hopkins Hospital and entered into the eternal joys of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born December 16, 1947 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ewing King. Twice married, she was the wife of the late Philip A. Mohr who died April 15, 2003 and David Evans to whom she had been married for 10 years. Beverly was a retired Information Technology Specialist. She was a member of a Ladies Life Group from Freedom Christian Church as well as a Couples Bible Study Group at Hanover Valley Church. She and her husband also attended WC Fellowship Church. She was the last of her immediate family. In addition to her husband David, Beverly is survived by sons Jeffrey Mohr, Jeremy Mohr and wife Dana, Joshua Mohr and wife Renee, step children Luke Evans and wife Nancy, Ilise Newman and husband Tyler and Natalie Boles. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Robert and Ronald King. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, 11:00 AM with Pastor Drew Derreth of Hanover Valley Church and Pastor Gary Cox of WC Fellowship officiating. Interment will follow at Springfield Cemetery in Sykesville.
