Last minute I needed to change Funeral homes as the previous one stated they would do something that they decided they could not. Jeff took care of things in a quick, seamless, friendly way and accommodated the special needs I had for my mom without question. Couldn't have been happier to be able to honor my moms last wishes. I was very pleased with the Zumbrun funeral home, the service, the consideratiion and the compassion at this time. Jeff took it one step further, realizing I can't walk, he suggested he would come to my house to make my selections for the funeral. I was very pleased with the price, when he mentioned ways to save money. I would definitely use the Zumbrun funeral home again if needed.

I wasn’t familiar with any funeral homes in the Eldersburg area, so I just started cold calling.  My dad had passed away and I was in charge of making all of the arrangements.  I have never had to do anything like this before in my life and was feeling very overwhelmed with everything.  After calling a few funeral homes, I was feeling more and more like I can’t do it.  That was until I called Mr. Zumbrun.  I have never met Mr. Zumbrun and had never even been to his funeral home, but within 60 seconds of speaking with him on the phone, I knew he was the person I needed.  He made me feel at ease immediately, I felt like the weight of the world was taken off my shoulders, he understood my needs and immediately stepped in to help me and guide me throughout the process.  Mr. Zumbrun takes charge of everything, he never pushes you off to an employee to help you, he himself handles it.  Even after I signed the contract for his services, Mr. Zumbrun answers his own phone calls and helps you himself.  His funeral home, was just that, a home.  It was very spacious and could accommodate dad’s very large family easily.  It was a very comfortable environment.  We had a few special requests, that Mr. Zumbrun had no problems accommodating.  Mr. Zumbrun went beyond the services that we contracted with him, he guided me with additional information on other things that needed to be handled.  He is hard working, detail oriented and has an honest work ethic, he handles every detail with the utmost respect for his clients.  It was a pleasure to deal with Mr. Zumbrun and I recommend Jeffrey N. Zumbrun’s Funeral Home highly.

Jeff was a pleasure to work with from the moment he answered the phone in order to set up an appointment.  His friendly and relaxed manner was just what our family needed at this difficult time.  I really appreciated that he worked with only one family at a time and we did not have to share the area when receiving guests.  The downstairs provided an area in which  the family could take a break or the younger children could play.  Jeff added some touches to his services such as taking a picture of each of the floral arrangements and listing who sent them which helped when the time came to write thank you notes.   Thank you Jeff for all your help through a very emotional process.

What a wonderful experience our family had. Jeff did a wonderful job with all the preparation dealing with the funeral for my father.  The staff was extremely professional and everyone was so kind and caring. Thanks again for all that you did.
