Joseph Few Wright, Jr.

Joseph Few Wright, Jr., 81, of Columbia, died Friday morning, February 16, 2024 at the home of his daughter Karen surrounded by his loving family. Born May 11, 1942 in Brevard, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Joseph F. Wright, Sr. and the late Helen Henderson Wright. He was the loving husband of 53 years to Rosa J. Wright. Joseph had worked and retired from Northrup Grumman as an electrical engineer. He loved playing golf, model trains and large locomotive trains. He loved to go to Altoona, Pennsylvania to watch the trains travel the horseshoe curve. He also loved spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Clarksville. Joseph is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Marie Wright Creutzer, wife of Scott, Karen Marie Wright Alvarez, wife of Michael, two sisters, Mary Ann Wyatt and Nancy McGuckin and grandchildren Julia Elizabeth Marie Creutzer, Christopher Scott Joseph Creutzer, Christian Michael Joseph Alvarez and Isabella Rosemarie Alvarez. Prayer services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 11:00AM, at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Private interment to be in St. Louis Cemetery.
