Tiffany Michelle (Busic) Busic

Tiffany Michelle Busic, 41, of Woodbine, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Gilchrist Hospice of Columbia. Born September 16, 1974 in Bethesda, Maryland, she was the daughter of Linda Burdette Bell and the late Karl J.Busic. Tiffany pursued a nursing degree at Palm Beach Community College in Florida, and was elected to Sigma Theta Tau, the honor society of nursing. At the time of her cancer diagnosis she completed the course work for medical coding and billing at Howard Community College, and was a member of AAPC. But Tiffany's greatest achievement was being a devoted mother to Chase. She also leaves behind many friends who supported her through her 3 year battle with cancer. The family wishes to thank the staff of Sinai Hospital's radiation oncology department and Alvin and Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute and the staff of Gilchrist Hospice (Columbia) for their exceptional kindness to Tiffany and her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by son Chase Tyler Campbell, step-father Ralph (Bud) Bell, brother Shane Busic, Aunt Ann Mullican, and cousins Marcia Robertson(Steve), Debbie Cramer(Larry), Michelle Waite(Dale), Bridget Thomas(Leighton) and Jason and Donovan Burdette. She was preceded in death by grandparents Bernard and Betty Burdette and Fred and Evelyn Busic, Aunt Sandy Busic, Uncle James B. Burdette and Uncle Larry Busic. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 AM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784 with the Rev. Ken McDonald Officiating. Entombment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum in Frederick. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
