Roy A. Mansfield, Jr.

Roy A. Mansfield, Jr., 89, of Owings Mills died Sunday,  December 2, 2012 at Shock Trauma.
   Born April 5, 1923 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Roy A. Mansfield, Sr. and the late Katherine Merkle Mansfield. He was the husband of the late Mary Mansfield who died March 16, 2010.
   He had retired as an auto mechanic for Sears. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post 521 in Tollgate. He was a member of Holy Family Church. He was the last of his immediate family.
   He is survived by sons David and Joseph Mansfield, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Frances French and son Michael Mansfield.
   The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 9:00 AM at the Old Holy Family Church, 10636 Liberty Road, Randallstown, Maryland 21133 Internment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park.
