Robert Albert Mazzoni

Robert A. Mazzoni, 92, of Catonsville, formerly of Eldersburg, died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Charlestown Retirement Community in Baltimore. Born September 15, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Louis and Emily Schneider Mazzoni. He was the husband of the late Evelyn H. Mazzoni who died December 14, 2015. They had been married for 70 years. Robert retired from Western Electric after 38 years of service as a telephone systems equipment engineer. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Robert is survived by sons Robert Allen Mazzoni, Lawrence Michael Mazzoni, David Louis Mazzoni, Alan Gary Mazzoni and brother Fred Mazzoni. He is also survived by grandchildren Christopher, Lisa and Michael Mazzoni and grandson Owen Bennett. He was preceded in death by sisters Mary Ann Clarizio, Mary Lou Valek and brother "Louis Mazzoni. Services and inurnment will be private.
