Dan and family. There is no way around the sadness, but hugs and memories will help because they will carry warmth and smiles. Dan, your dad must have been a great friend to you, because you are so bright and funny - even when you are a little miffed. Usually those special traits comes from our dads (though mom provides her own share of magic). Those of us who have also lost fathers too soon understand your sorrow and anger, and the importance of being with family and letting a friend in once in a while. Be strong and let time do what it must to heal. To all of your family, be strong and cherish all the happy times. look at lots of pictures and tell lots of stories. and love each other all the more.
