Nancy Jane (Willis) Whetzel

Nancy Jane Whetzel, 83, of Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Baltimore died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at The Cottages Assisted Living in Port Richey, Florida. Born August 22, 1932 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Fay Reams Willis. She was the wife of the late Rodger Whetzel. She had worked as a bank teller. She enjoyed living at the beach in Florida, animals, camping, traveling, the outdoors and spending time with her family. She is survived by daughters Terri Presti, Robin Wright and her husband Charles, grandchildren Tony Presti, Laurri Murphy, Jennifer Radcliff, R.C. Wyman, Shannon Stewart, Erin, Kristen , Jordan Whetzel and daughter-in-law Jan Whetzel. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Rodger Willis Whetzel who died April 21, 2008. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD with The Rev. Terri Rae Chattin, officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 10:00AM till time of service at the funeral home.
