Martin Stephen Popp, Sr.

Martin (Marty) Stephen Popp, Sr, 87, of Baltimore died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Ridgeway Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catonsville. Born September 24, 1929 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Elwood J. and Eve Hoesch Popp. He was the husband of the late Gloria Ann Popp (nee Horn) who died August 10, 2012. He had retired from Maryland Cup Corporation as a financial advisor. Marty served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the St. Agnes Council of the Knights of Columbus #4449. He is survived by a son Martin S. Popp, Jr., father-in-law of Linda Popp, grandfather of Emma Popp, brother of L. Joyce Strauss, uncle of Kathleen M. Zambito, Terry Laverde and Bruce Buckley. A Mass of Celebration will be held Saturday, 11:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9531 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Road, Ste. D, Timonium, MD 21093. The Jeffrey N.
