John Sander Moll, III

John Sander Moll, III, in his 90th year, of Sykesville, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born June 1, 1926 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John Sander Moll, Jr. and Ann Wachter Moll. He was the husband of Jane B. Moll (nee Bryte). They had been married for 65 years. He had retired from Montgomery Ward as the Catalog Department Sales Manager after 35 years of service. He was a veteran of the navy service in the Pacific theater during World War II. Upon his discharge from the Navy, he entered the University of Maryland and graduated in 1950. While at the university he was a shot putter on the track team. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working in the yard. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Jason and John S. Moll, IV, daughter Cynthia Moll, sister Nancy Girard, grandsons Zachary T. Lowe and Justin P. Moll and niece Kelly Girard. Funeral services and interment will be private. The Jeffrey N.
