Edna Doris (Brown) Bopst

Edna Doris Bopst, 97, of Sykesville, formerly of Halethorpe, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Brinton Woods Nursing Home.
   Born December 31, 1914 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Lydia Christy Brown. Twice married, she was the wife of the late John C. Bennett who died May 30, 1968 and Roy C. Bopst, Sr. who died in 1999.
   She was a homemaker. She was a member of Halethorpe-Relay United Methodist Church.
   She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Richard N. Bennett and Betty Lee, son Philip W. Bennett, former daughter-in-law Jeanette Bennett, son and daughter-in-law Roy C. Bopst, Jr. and Nancy,  six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
    The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:30 AM at the Halethorpe-Relay United Methodist Church, 4513 Ridge Avenue, Halethorpe, MD 21227 with her pastor, the Rev. Claire Fiedler, officiating. A one hour visitation period will be held prior to the church service. Internment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
