Dianne Elizabeth (Richards) Grant

Dianne Elizabeth Grant, 37, of Columbia, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, with her family by her side at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia. Born April 5, 1980 in Kingston, Jamaica, she was the daughter of Wentworth and Veronica Richards Grant. Dianne had worked as an administrator with Blind Industries. She had graduated from Howard High School in 1998 where she was a member of the ROTC. She had a Bachelor of Arts degree from Towson University. Dianne also had two associate degrees from Howard Community College. She had previously worked at The National Institute of Health in Rockville. Dianne is survived by siblings Bridgett, Joan, Danny, Paula, Rhona and Christopher Donaldson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her birth mother Rosalyn Pennant. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017, 12 Noon at Atholton Seventh Day Adventist Church, 6520 Martin Road, Columbia, Maryland 21044. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM till time of service at the church on Sunday. The Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD is handling funeral arrangements. Internment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in Marriottsville, MD. In lieu of flowers sympathies may be expressed in the form of contributions to Atholton Seventh Day Adventist Church School.
