Gail Ann Bak, 66, of Mt. Airy, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Transitions Healthcare in Sykesville.
Born October 5, 1945 in Asbury Park, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Burke Loeffler. She was the wife of Ronald Bak.
She had worked as a secretary for Bak Electronics.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sister, Eleanor (Loeffler) Spotts and husband Ben, brother Joseph Loeffler, mother-in-law Irene Bak, brothers-in-law Martin and Wayne Bak, sister-in-law Sheri (Bak) Pray and uncle Msgr. Ralph Kuehner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by infant son Michael J. Bak and sister-in-law Penny (Bak) Griesbach.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012, 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6901 Muncaster Mill Road, Derwood, MD. Interment will be private. There will be no public visitation. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Bethlehem House, 1401 Lawrence Street, NE, Washington, DC 20017.
